About Mirrorscale

Mirrorscale makes responses to privacy choices transparent and verifiable for everyone.

Our vision: your privacy choices are sent without asking and honored by all. We are not there yet, because a choice no one can check is a choice no one has to honor.

A privacy choice only works if the response to it can be seen. Today it cannot: the browser reports nothing back, a company learns of a failure from a regulator, and a regulator learns from a sweep it has to staff. We make the response visible, as facts anyone can reproduce, so that the whole privacy ecosystem acts on the same evidence: the people who send a choice, the companies that answer it, and the regulators who enforce it.

Our first product is GPC Inspector, a free, open-source extension for Chrome, Brave and Edge with thousands of weekly users. It shows what a website did with the Global Privacy Control signal, on the page you are on.

Mirrorscale is independent. We are not affiliated with any regulator, with Disconnect, or with the Global Privacy Control project, though we support its goals.
